Breakaway 2p 1p 8' Heavy Duty Surf Rod

This rod is special. The guides have been specially designed to work with BOTH spinning and conventional reels.

Use it for plugs and as a jigging rod.

This rod was developed for catching red snappers from the Gulf of Mexico. Others have used to for catching tuna and deep dropped 12oz egg sinkers down on offshore charters.

You can also use it on piers with ease. You can catch anything from the surf except 13-foot hammerhead sharks. My buddy used this rod to land 6-foot sharks back east.
